Flu the coop…..

July 16, 2013 by Last Star blog

So here we are in beautiful Charleston, Chantal faded away into a little squall and all should be right with the world.  Oh if things were that simple.

It appears I have the flu, Patricia is fighting off a sore throat and we are both feeling pretty low.  I had a rough 3 days and now I just drag myself around in a clammy sweat, get tired taking the trash to the dock and try to find some cool air and a decent night’s sleep.  Patricia has been awesome trying to feed us (when I have little appetite) and trying to stiff arm whatever it is I have.

Sadly our 2 week stay in Charleston is wasting away as we have little to no energy to do anything.  We do have power so there is AC in the boat so that is a blessing.

Sorry to be short, there is nothing else to add.  Hopefully we’ll get better soon and get out to Pearlz and other fine restaurants sooner than later.
